At Jaz Travels, we are committed to offering memorable travel experiences while maintaining clarity and fairness in all our policies. We recognize that plans can change due to unforeseen circumstances, and we aim to handle such situations with transparency and understanding. This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the conditions under which bookings may be altered or cancelled, as well as the procedures for obtaining a refund where applicable. We encourage all travelers to review this policy carefully before confirming their reservation, as it forms an integral part of your agreement with us. Our goal is to provide flexibility while also ensuring the continued quality and viability of our travel offerings.

At Jaz Travels, we understand that travel plans can sometimes change unexpectedly. Our Refund and Cancellation Policy is designed to be transparent, fair, and aligned with industry practices, while ensuring that we can continue to deliver high-quality experiences. By booking a tour or travel service with Jaz Travels, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.

Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to our customer support team at info@jaztravels.co.in and must include your booking reference number, full name, and reason for cancellation. The effective date of cancellation will be the date on which we receive your written notice. Cancellation charges are calculated based on the number of days prior to the tour departure date at the time the cancellation notice is received. These charges cover non-refundable expenses such as accommodation deposits, transportation arrangements, administrative costs, and partner cancellation fees.

For most standard tours, if a cancellation is made 61 days or more prior to the scheduled departure date, we will refund the full amount paid, minus any non-refundable deposit and administrative fees. If the cancellation is made 31 to 60 days prior to departure, up to 50% of the total tour price may be refunded, depending on supplier terms. If the cancellation is received 15 to 30 days before departure, only 25% of the tour price may be refunded. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made 14 days or less prior to departure, or for no-shows. Please note that these timeframes and percentages are general guidelines and may vary depending on the specific itinerary, destination, or third-party supplier policies.

Certain tours, including special interest departures, promotional packages, or peak-season itineraries, may be subject to stricter cancellation conditions. These will be clearly communicated at the time of booking or in your confirmation email. Flights, train tickets, event tickets, and visa fees booked as part of your package are typically non-refundable once confirmed, and cancellation of these components will be subject to the policies of the individual service providers.

If a tour is cancelled by Jaz Travels due to force majeure events—such as natural disasters, political unrest, public health emergencies, or any event beyond our reasonable control—you will be offered a choice between a full refund (excluding non-recoverable costs), a credit voucher valid for future travel within 18 months, or an alternative tour of equal or lesser value, subject to availability. We reserve the right to cancel a tour if the minimum number of participants required is not met, in which case clients will receive a full refund or an option to rebook without penalty.

For partial cancellations (e.g., removal of one participant from a group booking), refund eligibility will depend on the original pricing structure, room sharing arrangements, and supplier charges. In cases where discounts or group rates were applied, the recalculated cost may affect the amount refundable.

Modifications to bookings, such as date changes or switching to a different tour, may be permitted up to 30 days before departure, subject to availability and any applicable fare differences. While we try to accommodate such changes, an administrative fee and any third-party amendment fees will be charged.

No refunds will be issued for unused services or portions of the tour once the trip has begun. This includes early departures, missed meals, transportation, sightseeing, or accommodation due to illness, personal emergencies, or any other reason. Clients are strongly encouraged to purchase comprehensive travel insurance that includes cancellation, interruption, and medical coverage.

Refunds will be processed within 21 business days of cancellation approval and will be issued via the original method of payment. In some cases, banking or currency conversion delays may affect when the refund appears in your account. Refunds for payments made through travel agents or third-party booking platforms will be processed through the respective channel.
